The route overall was very good -- lots of loose gravel caused a fair bit of moving around to find smooth patches but the roads were in good condition, and if you weren't in a group that was in a hurry, riding in a group was pretty good.

The cool part of DAMn is mingling around before and after the race, getting caught up with old friends and past experiences.  

Congratulations to Tim Donahoe for his incredible single-speed victory. Both Tim and Keith survived a scary crash early in the ride that took down a bunch of riders and blocked the road for a few moments. Both were able to stop in front of the crash, only to be hit from behind to add to the carnage. Each was scratched and scraped but carried on.   

Hats off Kyle, Keith, and Andy for finishing in the top half of finishers, and Rob M and Scott for logging an epic 22-hour ride, complete with flats, shifting issues, tired bodies and a lot of persistence.
